Dear Reader,
This is my very first “Reader’s Group Guide” for one of my novels, and they did such an amazing job of teasing out great questions I never would have even thought of as I was writing the book. My publisher, Charlesbridge Moves, has gone above and beyond with an interactive webpage, book poster, and links to the Shakespearean Insulter and many other cool things for Werewolf Hamlet. I’m beyond grateful.
I’m here in the mountains of Virginia at the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, working on a memoir and finishing up a children’s novel about a young girl who needs a giant in her life and makes a wish on Vulcan, the largest cast iron statue in the world that stands atop Red Mountain in Birmingham, Alabama.
I was often writing both novels at the same time over the years - hmmm…maybe that’s why it’s taken so long. (I did have a few other distractions.)
Anyway, I just had to share this wonderful Reader’s Group Guide. The launch party is at Red Mountain Theatre on February 11th in Birmingham with Alabama Booksmith, and my in-house publicist, Kiffen, is helping me with my dates, website, and a million other things along with Blue Slip Media.
We’ll be in Birmingham, Knoxville, Nashville, Los Angeles, Montrose, and San Diego, Chicago, and we’re adding other dates and places. Thank goodness I’ll be teaching online next semester.
A longer post is coming soon.
Love

To Be or Not to Be…A Werewolf!
Wonderful! I’m going to have to befriend some younger kids so I can find readers to gift this to!
Awesome! I particularly like the legacy project and tar feeling questions bc they get the answerers to understand themselves more and shine bright :)
